Canine Physiotherapy
Advanced canine physiotherapy in Bristol — delivering gold-standard, detail-driven care for rehabilitation, and long-term health and wellbeing
Excellence in Canine Physiotherapy
Hi - I'm Ceola
I provide advanced, evidence-informed canine physiotherapy across the greater Bristol area, supporting dogs through injury, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
My approach focuses on meticulous assessment, close liaison with veterinary and other professionals, and highly individualised remedial exercise programmes tailored to each dog’s needs.
Consultations allow ample time for detailed assessment, targeted hands-on therapy, and the development of a structured rehabilitation plan. Following each session, you receive a comprehensive written report with clear, progressive home exercises. Where appropriate, I liaise directly with your veterinary surgeon and other professionals to ensure a fully integrated, collaborative approach to care.
As a University Lecturer I strive for evidence based, gold-standard care in all aspects of my work. I pride myself on being precise, compassionate, and focused on long-term health, resilience, and quality of life.

What to Expect from Your Canine Physiotherapy Consultation
Initial Information Gathering
Before your appointment, I will gather background information about your dog, including any medical history, previous injuries, surgeries, or other relevant details. I also liaise with your veterinary surgeon and any other professionals involved in your dog’s care to ensure I have the full clinical picture.
Initial Consultation
During the in-person consultation, we will review your dog’s case history and discuss any current concerns. A thorough assessment is then carried out, observing how your dog stands and moves, measuring joint range of motion, and evaluating the condition of their musculature.
Tailored Treatment and Exercise Plan
Following the assessment, an individually tailored treatment is provided. This may include hands-on manual therapy — such as massage and soft tissue techniques — to relieve muscular tension and discomfort, as well as appropriate electrotherapeutic modalities, including LASER therapy, to reduce pain and support healing.
During the session, a targeted rehabilitation exercise plan is developed, designed specifically for your dog to encourage correct movement patterns, promote healing and strengthen appropriate musculature.
Reporting and Vet Liaison
A comprehensive report summarising the assessment, treatment provided, and exercise plan is sent to you and, if desired, your veterinary surgeon or other professionals involved. I also liaise directly with your vet when required to ensure a coordinated, integrated approach to care.
